Business Analyst - Tax

Business Analyst

Our Client, a large financial services company, is currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a sound understanding of tax, primarily FATCA, Final Withholding Tax and European Withholding Tax.

MAIN TASKS INCLUDE:

- elicit and elaborate requirements
- model and Document requirements understandable for clients and subsequence roles within IT
- ensure that specification of the user's needs is accurate, complete and unambiguous
- maintain traceability between requirements and between requirements and requests
- identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
- provide inputs to a first test strategy for the application
- provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements
- take over the lead RE role within the project

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- university degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- requirements engineering experiences within financial institutions of > 6 years
- experience as a lead requirements engineer
- well understanding of financial instruments
- deep knowledge of securities, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions
- well banking-knowhow about tax, primarily FATCA, Final Withholding Tax and European Withholding Tax
- booking systems knowledge
- experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- background in software development processes/life cycle
- project management experience

- very good German and English
