Business Analyst/Systems Accountant - Madrid - 9 Months

BUSINESS ANALYST/SYSTEMS ACCOUNTANT - BANKING - MADRID - 9 MONTHS

Business Analyst/Systems Accountant required for a banking client in Madrid for an initial 9 month contract.

Self organised and driven, you will be required to own and deliver the IT layer of the business solution, from current state assessment through to a successful implementation.

PROJECT:

- Deliver an ETL to a complex SAP general ledger and data warehouses
- New data feeds are required from existing Spain infrastructure

EXPERIENCE:

- 5 years financial systems and MI design
- Retail banking experience preferred

ACTIVITIES:

- Requirements gathering
- Functional specification
- Data analysis
- Logical data design and mapping
- Technical design oversight
- Design, co-ordinate and perform testing phases User testing design Implementation Transition to Business As Usual Ability to liaise with:
- Spain Finance and Group Finance teams Spain IT and Group Technical designers Working Group and Steering Committee

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- SAP financials (alternatively any complex financial ledger system)
- Experience with large scale data warehouses
- Universal Modelling Language - use case design
- Informatica (alternatively any ETL tool in large scale data movement and transformation projects)

This project will be 25% based in the UK and 75% in Spain.

Spanish speaking beneficial, but not essential.
