BUSINESS ANALYST (SWIFT) SECURITIES

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In a project environment, to a nalyse any business related processes that include banking, organizational, application- related and other operational processes and procedures and develops proposals for change or enhancement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead for SWIFT capabilities and Institutional Custody offering analysis
-

Manage stakeholders and activities related to the Phoenix Operations Securities
-

Perform and/or oversee analysis on the impact of the program on the function/process
-

Deliver Target Operating Models
-

Business Process Modelling
-

Target Solution Design and Stakeholder Requests
-

Review Software Requirement Specifications and other project documentations
-

Co-ordinate cross-stream assessments, validations and decisions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data

Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
-

Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
-

Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
-

Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts

REQUIRED EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE:

-

Strong Business Analysis skills
-

Thorough knowledge of Securities processes and applications
-

Thorough knowledge of Securities SWIFT capabilities (MT5xx-series) and general Institutional Custody business
-

Fluent in English
-

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to, and collect requirements from Ops Stakeholders/Senior Management covering complex topics
-

A minimum of 5 years related business analyst and/or project management experience - Within the financial services industry, preferably within a Banking Operations environment
-

Excellent analytical skills and pro-active problem solving mindset and solid knowledge of the various business analyst tools and methodologies
-

Ability to balance and prioritize several competing tasks within the project.
-

Track record of providing guidance and direction in complex problems by applying knowledge, analytical skills and own judgment to determine suitable course of action
-

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) certification is a plus
