Business Analyst - Solvency II - Data Quality

We are looking for a data quality expert for a solvency II project, full time based on the South Coast. This individual would need to complete the data directory and perform the initial data quality assessment and controls assessment. The scope of the project is data relating to technical provisions.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience of delivering data quality projects for a non life insurance company
- Understanding of data Directory requirements in Solvency II context
- Understand data required for technical provisions calculations
- Working autonomously
- Ability to map process workflows

This person should be an experienced Business Analyst, with prior experience of working on Solvency II Data Quality projects. Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of Data Directory for Solvency II Technical Provisions (Claims & Provisions). Including analysis/documentation of:
- Analyse Technical Provisions models/calculations
- End to end data flow
- Data Quality Assessment criteria & controls, risk & governance
- Data Dictionary to capture data elements & definitions for the flow
- Perform materiality assessment for Data Quality rules
- Define template for the Data Quality Report for the regulators
- Work with the technical team to translate assessment criteria to detailed requirements for rules identified for automation
