SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST (COMMERCIAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, AGILE, SCRUM) needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in SAN RAMON, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- As a Business Analyst you will connect with asset management stakeholders and PRODUCT OWNERS TO UNDERSTAND BUSINESS AND PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS, responsible for analysing the business needs, and translating those needs into units of work that the agile software development team can deliver as working software.
- Work with product manager and product owner to manage product backlog for agile software development teams (This includes writing Acceptance Criteria in a Given When Then (GWT) format and working with UX to deliver UI information)
- WORK DIRECTLY WITH DEVELOPERS to make ensure the software meets the product requirements and business requirements.
- REPRESENT PRODUCT MANAGER AND PRODUCT OWNER in facilitating backlog reviews and scope estimation with the engineering team
- Support agile software development team with scope considerations throughout the development cycle
- Support the Product Manager to develop future product roadmap and drive improvements to product vision
- Maintain leading edge understanding of technologies and industry trends relevant to the application, via training, webinars, on-line journals, Trade Shows and User Groups
- Support the business to provide expert technical knowledge on key customer bids/projects and issue resolution
- Drive process definition and improvement for the business analyst role and work with Scrum Master with improving overall agile development
- Work with product manager and product owner to ensure the product feature sets and technical implementation is in alignment with business goals and requirements

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- 10 PLUS YEARS OR MORE AS A BUSINESS ANALYST
- Must be able to communicate well and work DIRECTLY with clients external customers. COMMUNICATION MUST BE STRONG, EASILY UNDERSTOOD, AND CLEAR.
- Strong analytical skills to apply business system analysis tools to diverse domain and problems and to abstract high-level commonalities and learning across businesses
- REQUIREMENTS GATHERING: The BA must be able to listen intently and accurately capture the customer requirements, be able to clearly communicate these to the team, and drive the project with the developers.
- Experience with RALLY
- The successful candidate WILL BE ABLE TO DRAW UPON THEIR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE to discern WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT FOR THE BUSINESS.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Software coding familiarity or development experience
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of the software business, ability to understand market needs and translate into requirements
