Business Analyst - Smart Metering

My client a leading energy organisation are recruiting a business analyst for their smart metering programme.

SCOPE OF WORK

- Lead the Non System Process Design (Planning tool (Excel or other system)
- Lead the Non System Process Detailed Design (S&OP process)
- Train a junior BA on Demand Planning & S&OP processes
- Lead Non System Process Detailed Design (asset mgt policies)
- Lead Non System Process Detailed Design (master data setup)

SUPPORT WITHIN LOGISTICS TEAM

Provide Logistics procurement support (including the use of Logistics Network Modelling Tool) for:

- Logistics supplier PQQ down-select recommendation paper
- RFP
- RFP recommendation
- Negotiation
- Mobilisation
- Support the Organisation Design
- Support Interim process design - inventory (asset tracking)
- Support Interim process design - inventory management (stock reconciliation/issue)
- Support Interim process design - PO
- Support Interim Process Design - Supply Chain Weekly Process
- Support Interim process design - management reporting/KPIs

EXPERIENCE

- Demand Planning & Sales & Operation Planning expertise and proven experience in a Consumer Product company or associated industries, with an appreciation of one or more of the following supply chain, logistics, 3PL contract and management, procurement, data analysis, and Smart Metering Programme
- Able to design Demand Planning & Sales & Operation Planning processes and associated Planning tool (it is anticipated that a MS Excel tool will be initially used)
- Able to train and transfer effectively Demand Planning & Sales & Operation Planning knowledge to junior BA
- Able to take ownership of deliverables, be accountable for them and progress them ,
- Able to take risks and assume his/her decisions when developing a piece of work
- Flexible to change of requirements and programme priorities
- Able to work under supervision with internal and external parties across the SMP team and effectively manage stakeholders
- Risk and issue management, especially in relation to Solution Requirements and Design Decisions.
- Able to run workshops and meetings with support
- Able to produce high quality documentation (processes, policies, position papers, plans etc)
- Efficient time management. Ability to deliver to tight timelines and to required quality standards.
