Title: Business Analyst - SharePoint/K2
Contract - 6 months initially
Location; Dublin
Rate Negotiable
A leading financial services organisation requires and experienced contract business analyst to play a key role in a scanning/workflow systems project.
Duties/Responsibilities
o Work closely with the Snr Manager and IT Project Manager in the delivery of the Projects
o To ensure that all communication between Business and Technical Teams in the project is unambiguous and timely.
o Gather requirements through various methods, including workshops.
o To manage the development, distribution and baseline approval of all documentation related to business requirements and their interpretation.
o To ensure that the business implications of all day-to-day decisions are properly thought through
o Work closely with IT and business to ensure web customer experience is feasible and meets all stakeholder requirements
o Develop relationships with business units and liaise on business requirements, processes and production readiness
o Identify and manage conflicts and/or alignment of requirements to ensure the most effective approach to delivering business needs.
o Assist with UAT planning and execution
To contribute to the identification and analysis of risk in the Risk Log
Skills/Experience:
oProven experience in business analyst functions
oProven experience of enterprise level software development projects
oFinancial services experience
oExperience with business process design
oExperience with SharePoint/K2 systems
oAbility to interface with IT and business areas
oAbility to be extremely business focused, while also understanding IT impacts
oStrong customer focus and ethos
oExcellent people and communication skills
oExcellent documentation skills
oExcellent facilitation and workshop skills to drive and gather business requirements
oAttention to detail a must
oIdeally experience with either Customer Services, Scanning or workflow systems preferred
