Business Analyst - Senior

We are working with a Federal Government organisation to source a Senior Business Analyst.

Utilise your design experience to assist with ensuring timeframes are met on various critical projects.

Your experience with working on several projects simultaneously will ensure that you are able to fit into this role with ease.

Projects you may be involved in could include:

- Transition of Legacy systems to more contemporary environments
- Developing new systems to support emerging workflows
- Upgrading existing systems, or
- Transitioning to new providers.

Your duties will include:

- Develop a sound understanding of the requirements of assigned projects and develop appropriate project management documentation to support achievement of objectives
- Work with business areas to identify functional requirements and schedule activity as required
- Maintain a strong customer focus and work productively and proactively with clients and Information Division
- Prepare reports, documentation and participate in project management meetings
- Interact with the organisation's Prince2 based project methodologies

The below skills will ensure that your application is seriously considered:

- Business analysis with a background in/familiarity with ICT architecture principles
- Business analysis experience in a complex business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and to budget
- Agility and flexibility and able to navigate complex provider/customer relationships
- Experience with analysis, mapping and documentation of business context, processes, information requirements and information flows.
- Familiarity with project delivery within a predominantly Microsoft operating environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work with technical staff and business areas
- Desirable - experience with upgrading Legacy systems to meet current operational environments

Due to the nature of this organisation, you must be an Australian citizen preferably with an NV1 security clearance (though baseline security clearance can be considered).
