Business Analyst - Secret with SSBI Clearance Job

BUSINESS ANALYST WITH SECRET CLEARANCE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Herndon or Alexandria, VA.

POSSESSION OF A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Possession of a DoD Secret Clearance is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in requirements analysis with diverse client or project types.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis and strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in group facilitation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This position is part of the functional requirements team working on a web-based software development project for the U.S. Department of Defense.
- Working independently or with other information analysts, business analysts, and/or data modelers, the incumbent will interact with client representatives to define functional requirements, document them in accordance with prescribed standards, and support the development and testing of those requirements.
- In addition, extensive analysis will be performed of data correction requests to evaluate them against the system requirements and to determine how the data needs to be modified to match the system.
- Extensive client interaction is involved and requires superior interpersonal communications and relationship management skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, manage time, and work as part of a virtual team are integral parts of the task environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current DoD Top Secret clearance (based on SSBI investigation)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in requirements analysis with diverse client or project types.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis and strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in group facilitation.
- Familiarity with use case preparation and a working knowledge of requirements management software is a plus.
- Must demonstrate a strong sense of self-motivation and direction
- Must possess strong motivation to make a difference
- Must be a team player
- Common office software skills (Word, Excel, Visio)
