Business Analyst - SAS

I am currently recruiting for a Business Analyst SAS for a leading Retail Bank.

I have outlined the role details below.

Role: Business Analyst SAS
Rate: Up to £500p/d
Location: Northampton, Coventry or the North West
Contract Length: Until June 2015 Initially

In this role, the Business Analyst SAS is expected to engage end users across different levels of seniority with a view to determine the existing SAS application consumption model across the different SAS estate.

The tasks will typically involve the following:

*Engage with the end user community
*Gather details and information around how the different end user community uses SAS, and other software components
*Planning, organising and facilitating workshops with end user community
*Collate and document the usage models across different end user communities
*Acting as a liaison between the end user community and the SAS GRID platform team

It should be noted that some of the details gathered could be quite technical in nature. The Business Analyst SAS will need the ability to summarise at a high level, as well as having the ability to drill down to the details if necessary.

Required Skillset for the Business Analyst SAS:

The Business Analyst SAS is expected to have the following attributes:

*Previous exposure/awareness in working with SAS applications and systems
*Experience in planning
*Experience in workshop facilitation and organisation
*Good documentation skills
*Good communication skills
*Stakeholder management
*Systems analysis
*Workshop planning and facilitation
*Attention to detail, ability to capture detailed usage requirement but also summarise findings
*Experience with data
*Understanding of data management concepts around BI, modelling, analytics

The following attributes would be nice to have for the Business Analyst SAS role:

*Datamodelling experience
*Base SAS would be extremely advantageous
