Business Analyst

The request is for a contractor to help plan, translate business needs into requirements and manage the execution phase for a project for the Global Government Grant Office.

The Global Government Grant Office (G3O) is a Center of Excellence of Janssen pharmaceutical companies of J&J (Johnson and Johnson). G3O is established to help secure, maximize and sustain strategic external funding and resource opportunities for J&J and to help ensure consistency and compliance in strategic contracts & grants across the organization for the benefit of J&J and its external partners.

G3O uses a portfolio of IT products to support their processes.

The project is focused to achieve the next level of productivity for G3O by providing enhancements to the systems and processes used and introducing integrated reporting to improve overall efficiency.

The contractor will participate in this global exercise, fulfilling multiple tasks. The contractor is part of the global project team, the focus of the activities lies in Leiden, The Netherlands with occasional trips to Beerse Belgium.

TASKS

- Organizing and running workshops to collect issues and improvement areas
- Organize and participate in defining solutions and refine the business requirements for each improvement area
- Support the decision-making process to select solutions
- Setup implementation planning for the selected solutions
- Manage the implementation(s) of the improvements,create detailed requirement specification, Review, contribute and organize the business with design workshops,Coordinate user acceptance testing, Manage the roll-out for the business
- Interact with senior business managers and project sponsors to communicate progress

Profile, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

- Senior business analyst with experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the common software systems is an advantage (Salesforce, Veeva Vault, SAP, Share point)
- Project management skills, customer focused, results and performance driven
- Demonstrates problem solving and analytical capabilities
- Fluent in English with good communication skills at all management levels
- Occasional travel could be required but will be limited, Mostly trips between Leiden, the Netherlands and Beerse, Belgium
