PROJECT MANAGER
We are currently hiring for a Business Analyst for our Investment banking Client in reporting to the Business Analyst Lead, this position is the custodian of business owner's requirements. The position requires coordinating and tracking delivery of business requirements throughout the implementation of business process and IT solutions.
Foster and maintain collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders including business, operations and IT teams.
Build understanding of the business and the supporting IT solutions in order to add value to the business owners
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for:
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Create functional requirements with inputs from the relevant stakeholders, including business, operations and IT
- Participates in testing to ensure business requirements are validated
- Ensure adherence to latest Client's Project Lifecycle policy
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Administration, with at least 8 years of progressive development and experience in business analyst role
- Strong problem-solving experience, analytical, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of business elicitation, analysis and documentation techniques such as process modelling, use case modelling, etc.
- Strategic thinking and negotiation skills with the ability to lead, influence, motivate and direct.
- Driven team player and demonstrate ability to act with independence of thought and urgency
- Results orientated and decisive
- Experienced working within the financial industry, with in-depth knowledge of the following applications will be an added advantage:
ERP solutions, particularly SAP ECC6 with focus on Financial Accounting and Controlling, Management Accounting, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution - Business Intelligence tools, particularly SAP Business Objects
