Job description:

Develop a strong understanding on the requirements and design.
-

Understand and evaluate business requirements, and translate them into functional specification and technical design.
-

Build interfaces for APO DP to load data from Manugistics system, using material number conversion.
-

Perform necessary configuration in DP, SNP and PPDS to make plan for the demand loaded in DP
-

Build interface from APO PPDS to extract data for Manugistics system with material number conversion.
-

Configure/Build the file exchange mechanism using Web methods.
-

Perform hands-on configuration and instruct ABAP programmers.
-

Define unit test scenarios and execute unit testing. Document test scripts and test evidence in testing tool (HP Quality center).
-

Define integration test scenarios and execute integration testing. Document the scripts and evidence in the testing tool.
-

Assist business users during UAT.
-

Perform Regression test scenarios for testing the existing functionalities against changes.
-

Provide post go-live support and drive the smooth transition of the support to the respective teams
-

With the other team members, be accountable for on time delivery of the project deliverables.

Required skills:

-

Senior level APO - DP: Excellent knowledge of SAP BW data flows and APO DP.
-

Senior level APO - SNP: Excellent knowledge of the APO SNP module. Knowledge of integration points with SAP ECC Logistics modules.
-

Senior Level APO - PPDS: Excellent knowledge of the APO PPDS module along with hands on CIF experience.
-

Good knowledge of PPDS function modules.
-

Interfaces: Required experience in building interfaces from and to SAP R3 and SAP APO systems.
-

Required strong knowledge of Replenishment planning processes in particular as well as Supply Chain processes in general.

Experience:

-

Have at least 8 year of experience working with hands on SAP APO consulting.
-

Communication Skills: Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Require excellent communication skills towards key users on functional level.

Functional skills: Have a good functional understanding about SCM processes:
-

Should be able to translate business requirements into SAP solution.
-

Should possess good documenting skills: specifying the solution clearly in functional and technical design documents.
-

Identify test cases to test the solution.
-

Translate functional and technical design to appropriate test scripts. Required strong adherence to the SDLC.

Desired skills:

-

Basic level APO - GATP
-

Experience in working with a virtual team & collaboration with off-shore ABAP team
-

Experience in working with an international environment, with key users located across different geographical regions.
-

Experience working with GxP environment.
-

Experience with AGILE SCRUM methodology
