BUSINESS ANALYST, SAP, ALICANTE SPAIN
Business Analyst with an Accountancy background and experience in SAP FI/CO implementations (or other ERP Financials) required by our client on sunny Spanish coast. You will have had a career as an Accountant and developed good experience supporting the implementation of ERP Finance/Accounting modules and processes (SAP ideally). This is a long-term assignment in an International English-speaking working environment, in a great location working for a European organisation.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
6 years project experience
Experience of Finance and Accountancy
Experience as a Business Analyst supporting users implement ERP financial processes such as budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, procurement etc in the public sector preferably. Ideally SAP FI/CO (or Oracle Financials) modules.
THE ROLE
The business analyst would have experience as an Accountant, and good knowledge of Finance and Accounting systems, including implementations of ERP Financial modules, and would represent the business in the SAP FI/CO implementation: interpreting their requirements and providing the communication channel to the SAP team.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Accountancy
- Demonstrable, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven experience analysing, eliciting, gathering and drafting clear requirements.
- A minimum of 6 years of projects experience
- Have a good knowledge of Requirements gathering standards
- Extensive experience of interaction with end users
- Excellent command of written and oral English
- Be responsible and able to work proactively and in a team as well as have a high capacity of time-management and ability to prioritise
TASKS
- Produce analysis (Gap analysis, feasibility and benchmarking studies etc)
- Delivering approved Requirements packages (Software Requirement Specification (SRS) for the projects assigned
- Assess and draft Request for Change
- Assure that the overall deliverable quality is met (methodologies, standards, follow the set process etc) and produce exception reports where needed.
- Assist and participate in the test process, produce test plan reviews
- Support quality assurance activities, user acceptance tests and follow up on issues and incidents
- Provide analysis, post implementation reviews and benefit realisation follow-up
- Produce regular activity reports, statistics and analysis on the effort spent.
PC:
minimum 8 GB RAM with Windows 7 Professional or Windows 8 Professional, Office installed.
LANGUAGES:
- Excellent command of written and oral English. English level B2 of the CEF (Common European Framework) framework
- Preferably a basic knowledge of Spanish
