BUSINESS ANALYST, RISK MANAGEMENT, TRADING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a Business Analyst with strong knowledge of risk management and/or trade flows to work on a risk management initiative in Zurich.
This is a 6 month contract with a strong chance of renewal.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 5+ years of working experience as Business Analyst/Requirements Engineering in the financial services industry
- Solid background working on application development projects
- Experience in risk management or front to back trade flows mandatory
- Datamodelling and/or SQL knowledge mandatory
- Ability to understand and work with the end-to-end data flow in a complex landscape
- Background in IT is a definite advantage.
- Fluent English language skills, German a plus
You will join an international project focusing on implementing new margin requirements for BCBS/IOSCO. Your role as a Business Analyst will be to apply changes for an exposure calculation application to take account of any margin exchanged within these rules.
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for:
- Elicits, analyzes, documents and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities within an application development project in the Credit risk Domain
- Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional specifications
- Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation
- Supports the test team in testing activities, when necessary
