Business Analyst - Risk

An experienced, professional Business Analyst is needed for our blue chip Financial Services client in Edinburgh to undertake programme level analysis and provide governance and direction to the Group Risk transformation portfolio. The right candidate must have strong, demonstrable experience as a Senior Business Analyst whilst also being well versed in project management disciplines with the ability to accept or designate responsibility for decisions and deliverables within Group Risk. This should include Process Analysis, Redesign and Target Risk Operating Model design expertise within central group functions. You must be familiar with Risk frameworks for projects and programmes (permissions, controls, sign off, escalations), have previous experience working on a Risk transformation Project or Programme and expertise in supporting change.

The role requires someone with experience in running workshops and facilitating change within Financial Services environments. You must have excellent communication and stakeholder skills, strong leadership skills and the ability to gain buy in and help drive through change and ensure successful draw down of project budgets. Financial Services experience combined with Risk Business Process expertise is essential. the role sits within a large Group Risk Transformation Programme and is an exciting opportunity for a someone at with excellent analysis skills.
