PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The purpose of the Project is to deliver the Liquidity Management Framework requirements for the Insurance Business under the Solvency II programme. This involves replacing actuarial end-user computing spreadsheets with a data repository solution and defining the reporting capability required.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The purpose of the role is to provide Business Analyst skills and to deliver key project artefacts.  A pro-active approach is required to shape and define the scope of the piece. The role involves coming in at the start of the project and will begin with defining the scope of the project.

Key accountabilities

- Scope Specification
- Business Requirements Catalogue
- Functional Specifications (including Data Load specifications)
- Maintaining traceability Matrix
- Stakeholder Management

CORE SKILLS

- An understanding of Assets/Liquidity/Finance/Solvency II
- Experience of working with Actuaries
- Experience of finance reporting
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, strong communication skills with senior delivery and business stakeholders
- Pro-active, creative and flexible in their approach.

DESIRED SKILLS

Knowledge of financial reporting within a Life company (monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of management and financial accounts)
