ROLE: Business Analyst - Retail Banking - Operations - Process

OVERVIEW:

- Our client, a major UK retail bank, requires the services of a Business Analyst to help redesign existing processes.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- To support the PM in the management of the Switching Programme Pilot to cover multiple business units of the solution to be delivered:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Co ordinate the implementation efforts across multiple business unit areas.
- Manage the day to day execution and reporting of pilot and implementation progress in the assigned areas and communicate to these to the business test manager.
- Ensure any dress rehearsals are fully planned and documented.
- Ensure the implementation/pilot is fully communicated to all business units.
- Assist in the management of the Pilot/implementation throughout the life cycle

CORE SKILLS

- Experience of leading a team and identifying a scope in numerous areas
- Experience managing major issues through to resolution
- Experience in providing detailed, accurate reporting to senior stakeholders
- Experience liaising with stakeholders to understand requirements
- Experience in major, time critical mandatory programmes
- Organisation and tracking skills to ensure no issues are outstanding
- Influencing and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work with IT colleagues to ensure issues are managed to resolution
- Experience in managing a dual role and liaising with multiple teams to understand show stoppers and progress blockers

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Large programme implementations
- Knowledge of banking infrastructures/financial services on the whole
