ROLE - Business Analyst

DURATION - 3 months

LOCATION - Pendeford/Gloucester

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

- The Help to Buy scheme is an arrangement between lenders and the treasury (HMT) that allows lenders to promote the wider availability of 90-95% loan to value mortgages with the added mortgage guarantee protection.
- The claims process will be used by the bank to claim funds from HMT in the event of an expected or actual loss. The scheme will be administrated by UKAR (UK Asset Resolution) who will act on behalf of HMT.

CORE SKILLS

The Finance team have established a requirement for some business analyst to support their work stream. The support is required to facilitate the creation of the finance piece of the claims process (largely cash management). In conjunction with group ops, the processes need to be defined and agreed, documenting any hand offs, hand ins, any new EUCs required and any new or changed MI.

DESIRED SKILLS

Key deliverables include:

- Agreed list of EUCs (built on agreement of core E2E processes between Ops/Risk/Finance)
- HIHOs, SLAs & timings agreements & documentation  
- Claims Management Implementation Plan (accommodating known inter-dependencies with other changes in 14H1)
- List of Controls/Sox Compliance/Governance process

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The role will be Pendeford based but travel will be required to locations including: Gloucester and Halifax.
