Business Analyst, Research IT, AVP - NYC

Leading investment bank is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support their Portfolio Management Application in research IT. Applicants must have project management experience in Support, Infrastructure and a familiarity with complex databases. The team responsibilities are the development of the portfolio application (Research IT), supporting Operations and Run The Bank teams, and implementing various business and IT projects. Strong use of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and other Office applications will be critical to the role. Duties: * Requirements gathering and documentation * working with development teams to help determine a solution while documenting the functional requirements * partnering with testing teams and QA Requirements: * 5+ years of business analysis Experience in the finance industry * Bachelors degree in finance, computer science or related field * 3+ years of experience with Sharepoint, Microsoft Project, Access, Excel or other related project tools * Prior experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or application development areas is a must. This is a permanent position based out of New York City and will pay a competitive base salary plus a competitive bonus and benefits package.
