Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer, Murex, English only (Contract

For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer with Murex expertise for a new 6 month contract in Zurich starting ASAP with a strong potential for extension.

BUSINESS ANALYST/REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER, MUREX, ENGLISH ONLY (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

This is a critical Business Analyst role within the Murex team focused on the integration with Front Office Systems. The BA is responsible for the requirements analysis and milestone deliveries as part of the lights on scenario, Front Integration, and OPICS Elimination project.

Key tasks include:

- Partnering with the business and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyse, document and validate the business and functional requirements.
- Conduct functional walkthroughs with business users, other IT teams, and testing teams
- Close interaction with business stakeholders and various IT units (Business Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technology and Infrastructure Teams etc.)
- Act as liaison between the business and technical teams to streamline conversion of functional requirements to technical specifications
- Validate test strategies, plans, test cases and test data to ensure results match functional requirements
- Coordinate with relevant IT teams to execute end to end test cycles
- Research functional defects and provide solutions

In order to be considered for this role you will bring the following skills/experience:

- Experienced business analyst in the banking sector
- Strong skills in the analysis and specification of Business Rule-, Screen- and Interface Requirements
- Strong and long-term in-depth Murex experience with FO integration (E-Tradepad, product modelling, configuration) and related technologies
- Strong communication skills for peer- (Requirement Engineers, Solution Architect, Test Engineer) and Business communication (Business Application Owner, Business Analysts, Business User)
- Good ability to coordinate across teams
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
