Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer - German Speaking

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER. For this contract position based in Lucerne in Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Analyze business requirements with workshops, interviews, discussions etc.
- Document requirements with features list, diagrams, business rules, prototypes etc.
- Create solution proposals and estimations together with the software engineers
- Manages changes to requirements and ensures traceability
- Perform pre testing to ensure application stability and maturity for integration testing
- Understand the technical setup of the applications
- Analyze business problems in the DB with SQL queries

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- 5+ years experience in business analysis and IT requirements engineering
- Good knowledge of processes and documentations
- Solid understanding of UML, XML, Web-Services, Datamodelling, SQL, MQ/JMS
- Experience in Web UI/Java applications development projects (as an engineer or analyst)
- Experience with agile methodologies (scrum/iterative, JIRA, stories)
- Knowledge of European Witholding Tax or FATCA is a plus
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Effective and solution oriented
