Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer for Basel Regulatory Project, B

On behalf of our international client in the finance sector, Swisslinx are looking for a Business Analyst/Requirements Analyst with strong Basel regulatory and financial accounting knowledge for a regulatory project in Zurich.

This is a six month contract starting in January 2014 with a strong chance of extension.

BUSINESS ANALYST/REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER FOR REGULATORY PROJECT, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

- Partner with the business to understand and document functional requirements and business processes
- Interact with IT to develop solutions to support required change implementation
- Perform testing for regulatory reporting system (test case execution, defect management)
- Support business department during their testing phase
- Liaise with other departments where synergies and dependencies arise

In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills and experience:

- Solid track record as business analyst or requirements engineer
- Knowledge of Basel regulatory reporting standards and financial accounting
- Good understanding of financial accounting and consolidation process
- Good understanding of regulatory reporting process
- Understanding of system architecture in general
- A good level of SQL skill set for testing activities
- Experience with a testing tool like Quality Centre
- Fluency in English (German advantageous)
- Open minded and delivery focused
- Ability to work very structured
- Strong communication skills
