BUSINESS ANALYST/REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER

Currently we are looking for a Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer to join our client's team in Zurich.

You will be part of a team of Business Analysts working closely with stakeholders from various areas to create innovative solutions, gather the requirements and help designing the new process and application. As a method Scaled Agile Framework is being used.

Description:

Your main tasks and responsibilities will cover:

- Responsible for managing end to end requirements from an IT perspective
- Conduct business workshops to elicit requirements followed by in-depth analysis and translation to system level artifacts (ie product specifications) in an agile setup
- Perform functional testing of built application and help ensuring quality of the deliverables
- Serve as the linking pin between Business Stakeholders & IT
- Facilitate business buy-in through periodic application walkthroughs or showfurther education (MBA, CBAP TOGAF or PMI etc.) is beneficial
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role as Business Analyst and/or Business Architect, preferably as a consultant and in a setting with onsite/offshore components
- Excellent planning, analytical and conceptual thinking combined with an outstanding ability to communicate and high delivery focus
- Ability to influence and drive decisions with senior stakeholders
- Self-starter personality, comfortable with driving change, questioning the status quo
- Excellent knowledge of one or more of the following sectors (as well as consultant): Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or Utilities
- Experience in one or more of the leading BPM products like Appway, Pega, Oracle BPM or others
- Experience with agile methodologies is of essence
- Knowing UML and Visio is a plus
- Used to work in an international and multicultural setting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
- Strong and open personality, team player
