BUSINESS ANALYST/REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER

Randstad Professionals in Zurich is actively looking for a Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer to join their banking client in Zurich, Switzerland.

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a business analyst, the candidate will have the opportunity to recommend strategies, to drive the development of strategic services, and to create requirements for submission and acceptance by senior management and stakeholders.
The primary purpose of the role is to contribute positively to the client's program that covers enhanced automation capabilities.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

The role will require close collaboration with Engineering and Operations units both within the department structure and outside it, as well as interaction and reporting to peer BA's and SME's as well as line management. The role requires thought leadership, strong presentation and analysis skills, and the ability to interact with senior management.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Simplifying existing processes and tasks to reduce overall costs of service
- Understanding and managing the effect of changes at the controls level (policies, regulatory requirements) and the technical level (infrastructure changes, new platforms)
- Perform impact analysis and describe impact across all areas, collect expert input, elicit initial cost estimates
- Support engineering to develop solutions; oversee overall delivery to meet quality
- Assist project and release managers in planning deployment

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent business analysis skills, inclusive of the ability to communicate with senior management
- Strong thought leadership skills. Ability to lead, advise, and coordinate global workgroups
- Able to promote teamwork and communication/information sharing
- Security understanding
- Directory understanding
