Business Analyst - Reporting

We are working with a Government organisation to source a Business Analyst with data analytics and reporting experience.

This is a contract until 30 June 2014 and your immediate availability is required.

This organisation is seeking to better exploit its corporate data in order to improve the ability for managers to answer questions about the data and for the agency to better measure its performance using data. To consider this, they are looking at the benefits and opportunities afforded by a corporate analytics function.

A Proof of Concept (POC) will identify the potential value of corporate analytics in developing Business Intelligence (BI) that can support decision making and performance measurement processes within the organisation. The project will identify suitable candidate questions, bring together the data, and measure the success of such a process.

Outcomes that are sought include:

- Improving access to and integration of all agency data to better enable decision making
- Improving the ability for analysis of this data
- Responding effectively and efficiently to ad-hoc, new, and developing business questions
- Reducing duplication of effort across various areas attempting to generate their own business intelligence

Due to the nature of this organisation, you must be an Australian citizen with a current NV1 security clearance.
