Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting
For our client, a large global bank, we are currently looking for an experienced business analyst with a strong banking background and knowledge of regulator reporting.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Gathering, refining and elaborating on Business and Regulatory requirements.
- Production of quality documentation including Business Requirements and Technical Specifications.
- Ongoing business engagement during all phases of the project from initial requirements gathering into production.
- Working with the development and QA teams in an agile approach to deliver requirements in a number of iterations.
- Coordination and collaboration with your counterparts across applications and teams - including other BA's, project managers, testing teams, developers, business sponsors.
- Experience participating in Scrum meetings with both onshore and offshore development teams
- Understanding of Solution Architecture would be beneficial
TECHNICAL OR OTHER SKILLS:
- Experience with relevant tools and best practices eg Enterprise Architect, Use-case analysis, QualityCenter, JIRA, Subversion.
- Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Banking IT experience (especially regulatory driven) with exposure to both the Business and IT highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work alone or as part of a team, can take direction but also able show initiative.
- Able to work as part of a global team
- Fluent English
- Experience working in an international environment
- Ideally highly communicative individual, happy to talk to both the business and IT and to be a bridge between both.
