BUSINESS ANALYST (REGULATORY REPORTING)

A Business Analyst (Regulatory Reporting) is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative contract with a major financial services client in Amsterdam.

The Business Analyst (Regulatory Reporting) will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that change initiatives are delivered according to the agreed roadmap. These include on-boarding of foreign entities on the GSC platform, implementation of new regulatory reporting and implementation of the new system infrastructure supporting these tasks.

The Business Analyst (Regulatory Reporting) will IDEALLY HAVE 65%+ of the following skills and experience:

- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in large organisations
- IFRS, DNB and ECB regulatory reporting (including implementation thereof)
- Translating business requirements into system requirements
- Experienced in projects, including extensive user acceptance tests
- SCRUM/Agile methodology
- Able to work at data field level (translate report requirements towards a data model)
- Knowledgeable of Commercial Banking products and processes
- At ease with complex financial topics
- Able to explain and document processes to new users of the service center
- Independent self-starter, with a hands-on, proactive mentality
- Able to go the extra-mile and bridge different teams/cultures/expertise/nationalities/countries
- Analytical with excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken; Dutch is an asset)
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilst keeping good relationships

The Business Analyst (Regulatory Reporting) will be required to:

- Analyse local architecture, specific local requirements of foreign entities and align them to the target architecture
- Translate reporting & processing requirements into system specifications (including data models)
- Design operational processes surrounding reporting responsibilities
- Document governance, key controls and above-mentioned process & requirements
- "Build bridges" between teams and individuals with highly diversified backgrounds, nationalities, expertise, profiles etc. across different countries to ensure the change initiatives materialize in time
