Business Analyst - Regulatory a. (Fidleg/Mifid II/Finfrag)

Edelway is a Services Consultancy based in Switzerland. For our client, a well renowned Swiss/International Bank located in the Zurich region, we are currently seeking an Business Analyst with experience having worked within a financial institution on regulatory topics (FIDLEG/MiFID II/FinfraG)

THE ROLE

The role focusses on the implementation of remaining requirements within the Micro Structure Stream as well as the finalization of the governance and documentation framework.

You are expected to take responsibility for the implementation of one or multiple topics like clock synchronization. In this role, you will work with stakeholders from Business, Platform and IT. You will ensure that the requirements are understood and implemented, you will track the implementation and identify and raise possible issues and risks.

You are further responsible to fully document the implementation and the control framework, that you will define together with the team and responsible business and compliance.

THE PROFILE

- Professional experience with regulatory-driven projects in the financial services industry
- Experience in Trading IT
- Ability and experience in documentation of requirements and processes
- Knowledge of current regulatory developments in capital markets regulations (FinfraG, MiFIR, EMIR etc.) is an asset
- Good understanding of financial instruments, services, operations and systems in capital markets
- University Master degree
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to quickly identify key questions and solutions
- Fluency in English
