Business Analyst - Records Management

Assist the organisations plans to begin moving towards a paper-free environment.

Responsibilities will include:

- Understand current business problems, capture business requirements, document functional and technical specifications
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop plans to implement short term and longer term improvements for Records Management
- Management of end-to-end solution development and delivery processes including scoping, analysing, documenting, communicating and managing the design implementation and user acceptance testing.
- Systems analysis activities including writing analysis of current systems, reports to
- Senior management and systemic requirements specifications and information architecture documents.

Selection criteria due 10 April

- Proven ability to identify and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and other requirements gathering techniques.
- Strong ability to translate formal and informal business requirements into functional specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire business and corporate knowledge surrounding processes and software quickly with minimal direction.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills at all levels and demonstrated ability to liaise between business owners, business users and IT technical staff to ensure appropriate solutions/designs are documented and implemented.
- Ability to deliver reliable, high quality work to tight time-frames as an individual and as part of a team.
