BUSINESS ANALYST (QUANTITATIVE RISK MODELS)

On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking BUSINESS ANALYST to join the bank's Firm-Wide Risk team. The team support the bank in calculating and reporting regulatory-significant consequential risk metrics across the full Firm-Wide portfolio.

For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
- conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
- support the business engineer by describing the business processes, including the organizational structures involved
- assist in quality control and project management
- identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements

You must possess:

- Proven experience in Credit, Investment or Market Risk
- Proven exposure to Quantitative Risk Models
- Experience with one of the following programming languages/environments: Python, R, SAS, Matlab, Java
- experience applying business analysis techniques
- an understanding of the software development life cycle
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills You are:

- technically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
