Business Analyst - QNXT

This individual will assist in requirements analysis, data analysis, data mapping, report developmentthe capability of performing interface analysis at the detail level; experience in documenting requirements; strong project life cycle experience; a solid understanding of software development life cycle; and broad-based knowledge of application systems technologies.
- The individual will maintain all policies, procedures and workflows and ensure that a change control process is in place ensuring that all updates have been approved and are well documented.
- Responsible for quality assurance and post-production validation of various systems/applications in preparation and support of production releases.

Identify project scope, content and prioritization for sign-off; assist in building and validating test environments for each scheduled release, managing version control. - Review requirements/design specification/procedure documents to gain a thorough understanding of new/enhanced systems/applications.
- Perform tests and evaluate results in the QA and post-PROD environments; develop and execute queries to interpret and validate test results and create test data.
- Ensuring applications/systems design and development meet functional and business requirements.
- Position requires flexible work schedule/hours to support scheduled production releases and post-implementation activities. You will be responsible for process changes are identified and thoroughly tested and documented prior to implementation.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION:

- REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Business Systems or other similar quantitative fields
- PREFERRED: Master's degree

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

- Must demonstrate hands-on experience development reports using various tools and processes;
- Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Project, Visio)
- Knowledge of relational database design
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Ability to adapt to changing tools and technologies
- Must possess communication skills to work with the implementation/project team to document reporting requirements.
- Medium to advanced knowledge of applicable hardware/software configurations.
- Service oriented, decisiveness, emotional intelligence, knowledge of the business, problem solving/analytical thinking, Quantitative Prioritization, Results oriented, team focus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in creating technical documentation of a complex nature. Expertise in technical writing, documenting business flows and developing written policies and procedures.
- 3+ years Quality Assurance and Testing experience with knowledge of QA methodologies and disciplines
- Experience in all phases of QA/Testing life cycle, including risk analysis, testing, validation, mitigation and contingency planning
- Experience in the creation and execution of functional test plans and manual test cases from start to finish
- Strong background in identifying and documenting and managing defects during program application evaluation and testing
- Must have the ability to perform extensive root cause analysis of problem areas and recommend alternative solutions.
- Analyst will be highly proficient in the use of technical analysis tools including SQL, Oracle, Excel, PowerPoint and other analysis/design tools.

PREFERRED:

- 5+ years experience preferred Strong knowledge of MHC, QNXT a plus
