Business Analyst - Public Trust Clearance Job

IT BUSINESS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seaside, CA.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Possess a Public Trust or ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of experience as a IT Business Analyst in a software development organization

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Senior Business Analyst filling this opening will work on Front End and Back End software project and product teams located in Seaside CA and Alexandria VA.
- These teams support will work in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting Systems (DEERS)
- Division supporting the Benefits, Enrollment, and Eligibility branch products to include business and data analysis and design as well as migration of existing systems to newer technology in addition to maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
- The person filling this position will work closely with the internal and external customers and project teams to conduct business and requirements analysis, coordinate software releases, research and resolve application defects and enhancements, to support User Acceptance Testing, and to support the business needs as they arise.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree and six (6) or more years of experience in a software development organization, a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience, or 10 plus years of experience.
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Self-starter, motivated
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Interacts with the client and product team to gain an understanding of the business and technological requirements
- May give product presentations and data pulls, as required to support application development and roll-out
- Understanding of business process and data flows
- Understanding of System Development, or Application Development Life Cycle
- SQL Plus, SQL Developer or other SQL Scripting Tool required
