BUSINESS ANALYST - PROJECT REFORM PROJECT

The BA will play a key role in the development of the to-be processes and performance management practices.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to design 'to be' business processes and determine gaps, inefficiencies and areas for improvement in existing process environment (key skill Business Process Analysis and Re-engineering)
Ability to define key performance metrics for monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the 'to be' organisation and processes (key skill development of performance benchmarks)
Ability to articulate business benefits that can be realised from the proposed new processes (key skills financial analysis to quantify the benefits including an understanding of key cost drivers)
Ability to define key success factors for implementation including potential risks and issues (key skill good understanding of risk management for service management implementation projects).

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in a service management, community support or sourcing management environment.
At least 5 years experience in software development/consulting environment
Knowledge of methods, metrics, tools and techniques of business process re-engineering.
Experience in analysing complex business requirements and converting them into business requirement documents and business process maps which are understood by the business.
Knowledge of business process concepts and experience in using business-modelling techniques, eg use case modelling, dimensional modelling etc.
Ability to identify rules, principles or relationships that explain facts, data or other information, and to analyse information and make correct inferences or draw accurate conclusions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills, workshop facilitation and the capacity to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
