Business Analyst/Project Manager - Mifid II, Algo Trading

The successful candidate must:
* be very familiar with current and emerging compliance regulations as they pertain to areas of interest to our client (including, but not limited to, trade/transaction reporting; pre-trade and post-trade risk; best-execution; market abuse), specifically concerning Front Office and middle- office exchange-traded product workflows;
* demonstrate a strong knowledge of key regulatory frameworks of relevance for EMEA Markets (eg MiFID II);
* demonstrate experience and ability in capturing business requirements working with customer stake-holders, and translating those requirements to product functional specifications;
* be familiar with specific technologies common to the space, such as trade reporting systems, pre- trade risk management, market surveillance solutions, best-execution monitoring etc;
* evidence excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication (written and verbal) skills with internal and external stake-holders;
* demonstrate impeccable personal organization, prioritization and time-management skills with commitment to meet agreed deadlines.
Some knowledge/experience of the following is a plus:
* familiarity with compliance requirements and regulations for non EMEA markets and product (exchange-traded and OTC);
* familiarity with sell-side Order Management Systems as deployed to support High-Touch and/or Low-Touch (DMA) customer order flow;
* familiarity with specific trading platforms such as Fidessa, Sungard etc. with relation to support for compliance requirements;
* experience of structured market requirements analysis and business case formulation.
