Our client is a global company with operations in Leixlip, Co.Kildare and they currently seek an experienced BUSINESS ANALYST/PROJECT MANAGER to join their team on a contract basis.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Strong technical writing ability - functional specs, use cases and test cases.
- Ability to work with a "virtual team".
- Strong team building skills and influence skills.
- Expert on the IT process (SDD process).
- Ability to manage ambiguity and multi-task
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with different timelines.
- Ability to facilitate effective decisions.
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into functional requirements.
- Experience in business process design.
- Strong Technical background - Development experience required.
- Expertise in how best to implement applications into a business domain.
- Ability to apply project management concepts and tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ability to execute and review SQL queries.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in IT/Computer Science/Business or similar.
- Expert in project management (PMI certification desired).
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a business analyst/project management role.
- Experience of working with SCRUM, PRINCE2 or similar methodology.
- Knowledge of the following would be an advantage: .NET, SQL and Web Services
