ROLE: We are looking for a Business Analyst/Programmer who contributes to a global team that is accelerating biological science.
REQUIREMENTS:
* A background in natural sciences (Bachelor, Masters or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, physics, or pharmacy) and/or Computer Science
* At least two years of experience developing and supporting Java software
* Good written, visual, oral, and online communication skills (English a must, German a plus)
* Strong self-motivation and ability to learn new skills as needed
* Technical knowledge required : Java, Spring, Oracle
NICE TO HAVE:
Maven, Tomcat, Hibernate, Jira, FishEye, React.js/Redux.js, Confluence, SVN, CID (Continuous Integration)
THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE A PLUS
* Fundamental principles for web application development
* Java/JavaScript intercommunication and JavaScript API development
* JavaScript MVVM frameworks (knockout, angular)
* Formal experience as a Business Analyst
* Wet lab experience in a molecular biology lab
