We seek candidates with two plus years of experience in an Application life cycle, portfolio, or IT landscape technical environment for the role of Business Analyst PROCESS PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT for project Lifecycle Portfolio Management within a Global Energy provider's IT landscape. A great entry level opportunity.

Responsible for design and embedding of Global Energy provider annual IT landscape assessment processes, including all touch points with other parties, meeting risk management controls and measurements for the performance and compliance.

Responsible to identify process and tooling improvement opportunities with sufficient detail to populate the business case to be included in the process and tool roadmap.

Responsible to for regular engagement with process executors to understand inefficiencies of the processes including SME's and Data and Process leads from each business.

Responsible to document policies, standard operating procedures, training materials, templates for the processes such they can be executed effectively and efficiently.

Responsible to for impact assessments upon proposed process changes (own processes or from other processes and shared tooling).

Responsible to drive continuous improvement of data processes and tooling.

Actively participate inpreventing improvement activities to become mere paper exercises.

Drive the identification and communication of improvement activities through data mining and analysis

Drive effective process embedding and use across multiple organizations.

Ensuring measurability and driving ongoing improvement of process, tooling and data

Responsibility for defining and implementing the roadmap for Application & Services Portfolio Management.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Focused on Business outcomes

Educated to a degree level

Previous experience of data mining and analysis

Understanding and ideally track record in application portfolio management

Expertise in process engineering (incl. process integration) and ability to negotiate and influence with other process management peers

- Proven ability to work collaborativelyis able to work effectively in a virtual environment

Able to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectively

Expertise in finance and data management concepts

Having practical skills in one or more process or data improvement techniques (LEAN, CI, Kaizen, Kepner-Tregoe,) will be advantageous.

Actual support delivery experience and/or service (assurance) management experience will be considered as advantageous.

Can demonstrate knowledge and or practical experience of Apptio tool set

Track record in delivery of ITL support processes.
