Business Analyst (Plant Engineering)

For our international client in the Netherlands, we are looking for a business analyst with knowledge of plant engineering and maintanace concepts.

ROLE DESCRIPTION;
The project aims to develop a global service offering for
Laser Scanning, storage, visualization and 3D Model conversion across our client.
Laser scanning is a technique to quickly establish an 'As-Built' engineering image of
existing brownfield process facilities as a starting point for plant changes and maintenance activities. The resultant 'point cloud' can be imported into a variety of imaging solutions such as Point Cloud visualization tools and full 3D suites.
The Laser scanning output is accurate to a typical +/- 3mm accuracy.

Responsibilities:
- Execute requirements gathering sessions for both Laser Scanning Technology and associated software.
- Document functional and technical requirements.
- Facilitate communications and process for Market Scan, RFI and RFP.
- Document business processes and identify improvements.
- Validate fit of local business processes and requirements with the global solution.
- Hand over the solution approach and use cases to the technical team, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
- Translate requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Serve as a liaison to the business community and assist the change management team as they evaluate training materials and other performance support products.
- Participate in training and pilots.
- Gather and document lessons learned.
- Establish and maintain working relationship with IT and Business stakeholders.

TRAVEL DETAILS:
Might occasionally be required to travel.

MANDATORY
- Excellent English communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF PLANT ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE CONCEPTS AND BUSINESS PROCESSES.
- Experience with (IT) solution evaluation and procurement.
- Ability to analyse, design and document business processes.
- Able to facilitate requirements gathering and requirement formalization.
- Able to document requirements based on input gathered from the local stakeholders and user community.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Willing to travel (if required).

OPTIONAL
- Experience with/knowledge of Laser scanning.
- Experience with/knowledge of application implementation and integration.
