Our global multinational end client in Basel is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join their international team in a large program.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months. We can propose a permanent position.
Working language: English - German a strong asset.

The role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a Key Role on an international infrastructure migration project within a multi-cultural environment. You will be responsible for engineering application migration solutions:
*Verifies and documents As-Is Components with support from Application Owners or Service Delivery Managers;
*Defines Move Approach per Component based on Solution Architect inputs;
*Defines To-Be Components with support from Solution Architects;
*Documents Special Requirements with support from Solution Architects;
*Reviews and fixes move dates based on availability/constrains of Applications Owners and Vendor Delivery Teams;
*Creates Application Move Map and obtains necessary sign-offs;
*Creates Application Move Specification List and Technical Specification List with support from Solution Architects;
*Define Application Cutover Plans and obtains necessary sign-offs.

Your responsibilities:
*Accountable for delivering successful migrations as per project Master Plan;
*Manage Application Analyst resources allocated to migration activities;
*Reviews and approves Application Move Maps;
*Reviews and completes Detailed Migration Plans;
*Reviews and approves Application Cutover Plans;
*Aligns with other Migration Leads and Vendor Delivery Teams the move day activities;
*Tracks and manages Application Cutover Plans' along with Vendor MoD (Manager on Duty) during cutover days;
*Ensures and facilitates business testing;
*Ensures timely sign-off of "Formal Acceptance" documents;
*Identify, escalate and manage resolution of migration risks and issues.

Your profile
*Fluent in English (German desirable)
*Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a similar role
*Good understanding of processes/organization within pharma/chemical industries is mandatory.
*Experience with MS Office Tools, MS SharePoint and MS Project Plan
*Team work in a challenging IT environment
*Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
