BUSINESS ANALYST -PHARMA, EDMS, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT- Short description:
Developing business-specific organizational solutions. Dealing with organizational problems, focusing in particular on process organization and single tasks.
Main Tasks:
- Surveying, analysing and recognizing tasks, structures and the disposition of physical and organisational resources
- Definition of work orders and support of the target definition process
- Development and evaluation of methods of resolution
- Reviewing and improving work processes and information flows
- Giving support in planning and carrying out organizational changes
- Evaluating physical and organizational resources
- Supporting the project leader in the fields of quality assurance and project execution
- Consulting the sponsor regarding the workplace design, spatial planning and disposition of physical and organizational resources
- Ongoing adjustment of the disposition of physical and organizational resources to changing environmental influences and organizational changes in existing complex organizational solutions
Special Requirements:
- Participate in major cross-functional Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) project within Pharma Development, take active role on project delivery and success, collaborate with project team members and business SMEs across regions
- Provide input and support for the business process and requirement work streams and take responsibilities in project delivery
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing processes and system capabilities to build strong foundations for future system
- Support harmonization of business processes and requirements across functions and sites by propagating project strategies and orientations
- Ensure business processes and technical solutions are aligned with the needs of the customer organizations
- Communicate consistently with project team members and customers
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with information solution projects for pharmaceutical industry & product development organizations (Clinical Science & Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety departments, etc)
- Experience with project management, software development methodologies as well as business analysis and business value concepts
- Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new processes and new concepts, to link business processes with technical capabilities, to define system requirements
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills
- Pro-active and dedicated to project success
- Proven track record of defining requirement specifications that have led to successful system and/or informatics tool delivery
- Perfect English
