BUSINESS ANALYST, PHARMA (CONTRACT, BASEL)

On behalf of our client in the pharmaceutical sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong track record in global IT projects in the pharma industry and knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) to work on a cross border project.

This is a 7 month contract with a likely extension starting in May 2016.

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

Strong track record as a business analyst or requirements engineer (5+ years experience), ideally in the pharmaceutical industry

Experience on CSV-regulated projects must have
-

Proven experience on software development/customising projects, ideally with Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
-

Ideally knowledge of Sailpoint IdentityIQ
-

Readiness to travel up to 50% at peaks (mainly to Spain, sometimes to San Francisco)
-

Fluency in English (written and spoken)

As the successful candidate you will work on a global an IT software development/customizing project that aims at implementing harmonized Identity Lifecycle Management and Access Management processes in the new/target corporate identity and access management platform (Sailpoint IdentityIQ).

You will report into the project manager and closely collaborate with system owners and process experts from IAM feeding, internal and consuming processes, as well as peer BAs, to first analyse the as-is, facilitate the definition of the to-be, then collect and document user requirements, and later track the implementation, testing and user acceptance of the implemented requirements. In order to be successful the business processes related to the Identity and Access Management (IAM) need to be understood in detail, to both align and address the impact to the business and project.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Analyze business scenarios, current processes and enabling systems, and identify opportunities for improvement through automation and/or business process change

Provide analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

Develop functional and/or technical specifications
-

Document and champion business processes. Provide consultation to users in the area of business systems and processes
-

Elicit, analyze, validate, communicate and simplify requirements, and manage and communicate them effectively
-

Lead successful completion of major projects/programs across portfolios. Champion accountability by example. Participate in roadmap discussions and vendor assessments
-

Lead cross-functional discussions in the resolution of business or systems issues. Develop business cases in collaboration with business stakeholders and key account managers
-

Facilitate and support system and user acceptance testing
-

Ensure compliance with all standards and practices including CSV
