Business Analyst (Pharma)

We have an immediate need for a Senior Business Analyst with strong knowledge in the Pharma/Life Sciences Industry.
THERE ARE AT FIVE TIERS OF BUSINESS ANALYSIS IN WHICH THE BA WILL PARTICIPATE:
- Strategic planning: to identify and document the organization's business needs
- Business model analysis: to define the organization's policies and technology approaches
- Process design: to standardize the organization's workflows
- System analysis: to interpret business rules and requirements for technical systems
- System support: to identify opportunities for improvement and to resolve issues in current systems
Maintain optimal use of IT assets across Client and manage resources, capacities, and standards/systems
THE BA KEY ACTIVITIES WILL ALSO INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Contribute to the Commercial IT Information Management (Rare Diseases, GI, Ophthalmology also aligned by key International Regions) delivering business objectives and to ensure high-quality, flexible and customer-focused operations, adheres to legal, regulatory requirements and fully meets Client Security standards
- Ensures robust communications with International Commercial & IT leadership teams to ensure services and programs are well understood, fully resourced and supported and actively supports the agreed Strategy Client Business & IT Strategy
- Ensures fully developed business cases for all investments, aligns recommendations with Global IT standards, establishes feasibility and resource requirements, and develops budget requirements and accountabilities
- Contribute to the development of a long term International Commercial IT roadmap and architecture to ensure investments in new capabilities are fully in sync with the overall agreed Strategy Client Business & IT Strategy
- As a member of the International Commercial IT Business Partnership Team, leads and manages select global processes/programs related to Commercial IT to achieve business objectives. Work collaboratively to support and improve business performance and capabilities and ensure we fully leverage business investments
- Committed to continuous improvement, proactively identify and evaluate opportunities for business driven technological innovation and development.
Requirements:
5-7 years' experience in IT services & operations with 5+ years of supervisory and project management experience in an international IT operations environment.
Experience in pharmaceutical industry required particularly in a Commercial function
