Our client, a large life and pensions business are currently recruiting for Business Analysts to join the team based in Edinburgh.

This role will be working on a Premium Default Funds project and will be responsible for the analysis required to develop new funds to support existing group and individual pensions.

You will be responsible for initial scoping, requirements gathering and documentation on the definition stage of the project, and the production of the standard BA deliverables as part of the standard change methodology using effective communication, presentation and reporting writing skills.

You will work closely with key Stakeholders and will use key influencing skills to help keep the project on track and aligned with the release footprint.

The following skill set will be required:

* Experience of Group or Individual Pensions design and launch
* Requirements gathering and specification
* Analytical skills
* Communication, presentation and reporting writing skills.
* Stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Workshop facilitation skills will be key and the ability to work proactively in an indirect supervision environment will also be required.
* Ability to work proactively in an indirect supervision environment

The following would be desirable experience for this role:

* Fund and investment accounting
* Experience of regulatory documents eg prospectus, fact sheet etc
* Production of sales support material
