POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Benefits Implementation Analyst who will be responsible for leading the Benefits portion of an HR System conversion. This position will provide consulting and process design services for employee benefits functionality in the implementation of a Munis HR/Payroll System. Duties include assessment, analysis, and recommendation of processes and workflows based on best practices and multi-departmental requirements.

Daily responsibilities will include:

- Working with the Benefits Manager and the HR management team to determine strategic and tactical goals for the implementation project
- Developing and documenting step-by-step procedures for all benefits-related processes, recommending alternatives to improve functionality or effectiveness of the Benefits Office or interaction with other groups
- Facilitating cross-functional meetings to review current practice and to develop improved processes for the Munis system
- Participating in end-to-end testing of all processes
- Working closely with the Benefits staff to ensure understanding of current procedures and practices
- Providing training to benefits staff on the new system's functionality and procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience with HR/Payroll system conversions and implementations; preferably including Munis software
- Experience with employee benefits operations of large employers
- Project management experience
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
