BUSINESS ANALYST - OPERATIONS - GLOBAL MARKETS - INVESTMENT BANKING
Dublin, 12 months
The Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Markets Operations Securities Change (GMOSC) Team is seeking to hire a Business Analyst in Dublin on a 12 month contract basis.
This Business Analyst will help manage a number of key initiatives in relation to securities transaction tax for the Global Markets business. This will include assessment and remediation, where necessary, of current securities transaction tax processes, and the development and implementation of new tax requirements, such as FATCA/IGA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Problem analysis and definition
* Production of business cases, including financial modelling and forecasting, to obtain approval to proceed
* Develop project schedule and milestones
* Assemble project team, assigning individual responsibilities and co-ordinating activities
* Manage project implementation and report on progress against plan and budget utilisation
* Identify and manage project risks and issues
* Run steering groups and working groups as required
* Manage or co-ordinate acceptance testing in line with testing strategy
* Conduct post-implementation reviews in order to draw out lessons learnt and ensure benefit realisation
* Participate in the continuous improvement of GMOSC processes and quality standards.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Proven track record of delivering complex projects to plan and on budget and ability to run several projects concurrently with relative autonomy.
* Proven ability to understand and manage the sensitivities of stakeholders at different levels.
* Experience in leading a team: managing, coaching and developing a group of project managers and business analysts
* Willingness to travel to other ML centres, in line with project requirements.
* Competent with MS Products: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Visio.
