Business Analyst - Operational Risk IT

Business Analyst - Operational Risk IT with profound Investment Banking knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 5+ years of relevant Business analysis experience, ideally in a highly regulated global environment with strong fundamentals in Investment Banking and Capital Markets
- Knowledge in building inbound and outbound interfaces and sourcing of data feeds with strong ability to query and aggregate data
- Technical skills in Unix, bash, SQL, python, Business Objects or tableau is a plus, preferably with the full software development life cycle experience including both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Familiar with requirements capturing using use cases and feature driven methods, identifying and executing test strategies, test planning and functional test cases as well as with the analysis of 3rd party and OOTB products
- Knowledge in compliance or regulatory projects is a big plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Helping design and implement an Operational Risk application based on MetricStream's M7 along with understanding user expectations, raising clarifications with stakeholders, developing and documenting functional and non-functional business requirements
- Designing, documenting and tracking inbound and outbound interfaces to the system and collaborating with other teams to source the appropriate data feeds
- Developing solutions for problems and conducting root cause analysis, identifying trends in problems and areas of improvement
- Communicating between Business clients and development team, representing the end user and ensuring requirements are understood and solutions are optimal
- Building non-functional requirements and tracking them to resolution, train developers on functional concepts and resolve functional problems as well as supporting the test team in creating and conducting functional tests
