Business Analyst/OBI

SUMMARY:

- Support the Finance Reporting and Analytics team as part of a global Oracle R12 ERP implementation.
- Candidate will be a member of the business team partnered with the System Integrator to define the data requirements and reporting needs for finance and procure to pay.
- Sub-tracks supported include Costing, Project Accounting, Inter-company and Procurement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Assist in the creation and review of functional specs for OBI reports in the above mentioned functional areas.
- Review Functional specs with sub track and Subject Matter Experts for completeness. Coordinate any updates to the Functional Specification document based on this input
- Work with report development team to ensure Technical Design meets Functional Specification requirements
- Develop test plan and required data to adequately review output for compliance with Functional Specification and business team needs
- Coordinate test defect information from business teams and work with test development team to incorporate report correction and retesting
- Develop training material for each report

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or IT
- 2-5 years Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle Financial Modules
- Familiarity with Oracle BI Applications (Financial Analytics, Procurement and Spend Analytics, Project Analytics) a plus
- Prior experience with Oracle Endeca Extensions and XML Publisher a plus
- Prior Oracle implementation experience a plus
- Experience with Oracle
- Must have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
