Business Analyst - Murex 3.1 Finance - Sydney CBD- Contract

THE COMPANY

Our client is a market leading solution provider and consultancy focused on critical change projects within the financial markets. Its customers include major retail and investment banks, wealth management organizations, and trading houses. They implement a wide range of front to Back Office solutions for game-changing banking projects ranging from system upgrades, data migrations, decommissioning of Legacy systems, and full-scale implementations of brand new cutting-edge systems in the capital markets, treasury, wealth management, and energy space.

THE TEAM

The team is comprised of some of the most experienced consultants from a wide range of business, technical, and vendor technology backgrounds. Every consultant grows to be an industry expert with a deep understanding of markets platforms and technologies as well as best practices within the space.

THE ROLE

This role will put you in charge of developing and optimizing pre and post-trade workflow rules as well as building FDI Strategy pads. The successful candidate will have strong financial markets knowledge, good eTradepad experience, strong knowledge of deposits and bonds. You will work onsite at a leading financial services organization, with one of the best Murex teams in the business.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- DEMONSTRATED experience as a Murex Business Analyst
- DEMONSTRATED experience with Murex 3.1 (Murex 2.11 experience is not sufficient)
- STRONG Financial Markets Knowledge in any of the following domains: Reconciliations, Deposits (USA, AUS, or Asian) Markets and/or Bonds (Credit-Linked Notes and Total Return Swaps)
- Technical skills such as SQL, XML, and Shell/Perl Scripting are desirable
- Strong Communication, and Stakeholder Management Skills
