Business Analyst - Multiple Roles - 12 Month Contract

A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced Business Analysts within a Government Department for a long-term contract role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Will play a lead role in the delivery of the Income Tax Return form set and will build key networks with staff that will need to be maintained in order to deliver this form set on time;
- Will lead the implementation of the tax time release for the team for implementing forms;
- Will assist in mentoring permanent staff to support the delivery of products for the client; and
- Transfer knowledge and mentor other resources to support the delivery of products for the client.

SKILLS:

- Proven experience in analysis and specification of Web services and Web applications in accordance with program standards;
- An understanding of, or the ability to quickly acquire, knowledge of the business with the ability to capture complex requirements and the systems and administrative process in the client;
- Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into specifications for IT solutions, and the ability to produce concise non-technical documentation;
- Proven experience with delivering specifications for web services utilising reporting taxonomies;
- Proven experience in the application of IT technical concepts needed to delivery web services; and
- Understanding of, or the ability to quickly acquire an understanding of concepts and the ability to implement specifications using techniques.
